MGF Services & Equipment has announced the addition of Colordyne Technologies’ UV and water-based inkjet print engines to their new equipment offerings. Colordyne’s digital retrofit solutions allow users to turn their new or existing flexo press, web handling, packaging, and converting systems into single-pass hybrid printing platforms.

Colordyne Technologies, also Wisconsin-based, is a manufacturer of high speed, high resolution and low capital cost UV-LED and water-based inkjet print engines. Colordyne’s retrofit approach to digital printing allows label converters to seamlessly integrate process color inkjet directly onto existing production lines at breakthrough speeds and without the loss of current press functionality.

The MGF history dates back to the year 1976 when Walter Friedl dedicated his engineering and technical expertise to the redesign and support of large format offset presses. Mona’s maternal grandfather named Edward Kleist ran his own printing press company in 1922 from Milwaukee, WI.

In April of 2004, with over 25 years of printing machinery experience in the aftermarket parts and service support business for the maintenance and repair of production equipment, Mona closed the door of the family-run business and opened another, namely MGF Services LLC.
